Honestly, if they go from first game and make new ones of the sequels , I'm fine with that.

I still find it weird that Konami went with Silent Hill 2 and is now planning to make Silent Hill 1 remake.

I think it has more to do with Silent Hill 2 being a standalone game whereas SH3 is a direct sequel to the first game. So I'm guessing Konami didn't want to greenlight a SH1 remake until SH2 was a for sure success. Because a lot of fans, myself included, would be very upset if they didn't remake SH3 if they did remake SH1 lol. The third game in the series is my personal favorite.
