I almost never like games that are multiplatform. I associate it with sports games, shooters and movie tie-ins. Probably not fair of me but that's how it is.
When it comes to the different exclusives for each platforms I kind of list it as:
Sony - Action adventures, RPGs
Xbox - FPS, - (pretty much draws a blank here, never had a reason to play Xbox)
Nintendo - Plattformers, Action adventures, Party games
PC - RTS, MOBA, MMO
Mobile - Puzzle, strategy games
Of course each type of game exist on each platform but the best exclusive titles to often falls somewhere there. From the type of games I generally play at least.
The deciding factor if a game works well is how it controls.
Games that are good on PC is often games that work best with a mouse. RTS specifically,
Games that are good on Mobile are often games that work best with touch screen. Puzzles.
Games best played in a sofa with a big screen are best with a console and regular controller. Action adventures, couch co-op and party games.
Being an exclusive title is not necessary but I do think how a game is best played is determined by the platform it is on.
Sitting in an office chair playing games on a PC with a controller does not give me the same experience as playing that same game in my sofa with a larger screen and sound system. Playing online heavy game without a keyboard for text communication is also not the same. And I will never go back to playing picross without touch controls.
