Are console exclusives good for the industry? For the consumer?

Tears of the Kingdom is the most impressive game on Switch and it's a exclusive again. Nintendo games in general are very polished and the best looking of their respective consoles. And it's all because they know their hardware better than anyone, because... well... they only make games for their hardware.

Have you played Spiderman 2 and BOTW? why are you ignoring the preformance issues? Why do they have preformance issues? Single platform, 1 focus.. 

By your logic, GTA6 is going to be terrible because of its multiplatform approach, it won't be able to compete with those 1st party titles. Your logic not mine.

BOTW runs in 30fps 99% of the time. The only place with prolonged frame rate drops is Korok Forest. The way you talk is like the game struggle to run in 30 fps all the time and it's not the case, lol

Spider Man 2 doesn't have any performance issues. It was a flawless 60 fps experience for me.

I'm guessing you're the one who never touched these two games.

And I also never said multiplatform games are terrible.

I'll repeat what Curl said. Exclusive games can look better because they're made for one hardware. This is the case for mostly every Nintendo game since the NES. They're the best of their hardware.
