I'm currently 70 hours in to a Persona 5 Royal playthrough. That along with Megabonk is pretty much the only gaming I've been doing for the past month. Yet during this time I have purchased the following: Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, Ni No Kuni Remastered, Hogwarts Legacy, The Crew 2, Steamworld Dig 1+2, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Saints Row 3 Remastered, Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town, Red Faction Geurilla Remastered, TCG Card Shop Simulator, Bioshock 2 Remastered, Two Point Campus, South Park The Fractured But Whole, Far Cry Primal, Mafia III, Zombie Army Trilogy, Star Wars Bounty Hunter, AC Rogue+Unity and Hardspace Shipbreaker.
My steam library now sits at over 1,000 owned games though I know there are others on here with much more. Equally both my Xbox and PS digital libraries are in the several hundreds.
But I know I really only average about 2-3 hours a day of gameplay, practically I know I don't have time to play all of these games and that I already own enough games to last me many many years. Yet I keep buying. OFC I'm not spending a lot of money on these games, they were basically all under £5, but even knowing there's a good chance I'll never get the chance to play and finish them I acquire them anyway.
Do you do a good job of only buying games that you will play? Or do you also acquire a huge number of games you know you are very unlikely to ever find the time to touch?
