Palestinians leave Gaza for medical treatment abroad
Ambulances carry Palestinian patients before they are transferred for medical treatment abroad, in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, October 22

Can you imagine getting on a bus after living in makeshift tents between the rubble for nearly 2 years not sure whether you will eat that day or not.
MSF urges countries to take in Palestinian patients needing care
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has urged world governments to take in Palestinians who cannot get the life-saving medical treatment they need in Gaza, where the health system has been decimated by Israel’s bombardment.
More than 15,000 patients are registered with the World Health Organization and awaiting medical evacuation, MSF medical adviser Dr Mohamed Abu Mughaisib said.
“More than 700 patients have died while they were waiting to be medically evacuated,” said Mughaisib.
That includes women, children and elderly people “who could be saved if they were treated in a proper hospital”, he noted.
📢 We are calling for countries around the world to accept Palestinian patients in need of lifesaving medical treatment.
