Israeli drone attack kills one in southern Lebanon

An Israeli drone-fired missile has killed a person on their motorcycle in the southern Lebanese town of Ain Qana, reports Lebanon’s National News Agency.

Israel’s military claims attack in Lebanon, says killed Hezbollah special forces member

The Israeli military has claimed a deadly attack that took place earlier today in southern Lebanon’s town of Ain Qana. It said the attack killed a platoon commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan special forces unit.

The targeted individual, Israel’s military said, had helped smuggle weapons into Lebanon and advanced plots against Israel, actions it said contravened the Lebanon ceasefire deal. The army did not offer any immediate proof of its claims.

As we’ve reported, Israel’s military has repeatedly carried out strikes in southern Lebanon despite the November ceasefire, saying it is targeting Hezbollah fighters.

They keep claiming to kill Hezbollah members as if that's some sort of justification.

Assassinations are illegal under war, and this is supposed to be a ceasefire.
