Israeli forces arrest 4 across Bethlehem governorate

Palestine’s Wafa news agency, quoting security sources, reports that soldiers conducted the arrests after raiding and searching their families’ homes.

Those arrested include Mustafa Musa Nawawra, who was taken from the Jabal al-Mawaleh area; Muhammad Raed Zawahra from al-Karkafa; Raed Abdul Karim al-Madbouh from the Caritas area; and Zakaria Jamal Awida from Hindazah, in the east of the city.

The sources added that troops raided many homes in various areas of the governorate without any further arrests being reported.


One person killed by Israeli forces north of occupied Jerusalem

A man has been killed after being attacked by Israeli forces in ar-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Wafa news agency, quoting security sources, reported that soldiers beat the 57-year-old to death.

The Palestine Red Crescent said its crews received his body at the Qalandiya checkpoint and transported it to the Palestine Medical Complex.

Israeli forces have carried out a series of raids and incursions into various areas in the occupied West Bank this morning. Soldiers have also raided the homes of released prisoners and warned their families against holding any celebrations to mark their release from Israeli jails.


Israeli soldiers close entrance to al-Mughayyir village, occupied West Bank

The head of the al-Mughayyir village council, Amin Abu Aliya, tells the Wafa news agency that soldiers closed the western entrance to the village, preventing Palestinians from entering or leaving.

The western entrance is currently the only one to the village, after troops closed the eastern entrance since the war in Gaza began on October 7, 2023.


Israeli forces arrest mother and child in al-Issawiya, occupied West Bank

Israeli troops have continued a mass arrest campaign across the occupied West Bank since this morning, Wafa reported.

In the town of al-Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, soldiers arrested a child and his mother after raiding their home and ransacking its contents, the Jerusalem governorate reported.

In Tubas city, a young man was arrested after he was summoned for an interview at Salem camp near Jenin, the director of the Prisoner’s Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, told Wafa.
