It has the correct aspect ratio and pixel density/tech to display DS games the way they were intended. A 3DS XL can be had for less than any of these and is guaranteed to run the games more accurately than any emulator. This is funny to me because making an emulator device for something as recent and widely available as the 3DS makes no sense. It launched in 2011 and was discontinued in 2019. Might as well make an inferior knock-off emulator device for the PS4 or XB1 while you're at it. |
I have a 3DS... I still want a Thor lol. It does a lot more than a modded 3DS can. You're treating it like the only thing it can do is play DS/3DS lol.
Unlike a 3DS it can also run N64, PSP, GC, PS2, Wii, WiiU, Vita, Switch and any android game/app. There's something to be said for having one device that can do so much instead of having to carry multiple other devices. Plus it will run 3DS games at 1080p instead of 240p so there's that.
The Thor looks phenomenal! I can carry one 3DS XL sized device and have access to so many games and systems.
