Apart from something happening to my wife or kids it's water. (yes it is a chemical change in your body when you get kids, more so in women than men. The anxiety can sometimes be overwhelming as well as the fear of having passed genetic 'problems' on to your kids)
Not the fear of drowning, plumbing problems. Incidentally we have one right now again. (kitchen sink firmly blocked, over 30-40 feet down the pipe, auger so far unsuccessful) I'm just taking a break atm to get some food while my wife is trying not to panic :/ She doesn't handle these home emergencies well. Her biggest fear is having to have people come into the house (to fix things / deliver things).
So I've tried plunging until the water started coming up out the dishwasher :/ Ran out to get a 25ft drain snake, not long enough. Now trying with a 50ft drain snake (ran back to the store) which gets firmly stuck on a corner I assume. Trying again in a bit.
I guess my actual biggest fear is my wife not surviving a panic attack. (She had one at her mom's house with the ambulance having to come) And when she had Covid was the worst, listening at night if she was still breathing. Tears me up thinking about it.
As for 'mundane' things, I have mild claustrophobia so the idea of spelunking / crawling into tight tunnels I'll leave that to VR. No way irl.
