LOL, Wreck It Ralph is based on video games.  It's basically the OG Donkey Kong and Crazy Climber combined.  It's literally paying homage to early video games.

Oh, I know. I was speaking more to how it felt while I played through it. It felt like a Disney cartoon to me, like Wreck it Ralph.
