Two years of Israel’s genocide in Gaza

PRCS says 29 staff killed by Israeli attacks in war on Gaza

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says 29 of its staff have been killed in Gaza while carrying out humanitarian and medical duties since the war began.

PRCS said its teams have been “directly targeted, without care or regard for their humanitarian missions or their protected red crescent emblem”.

Among those killed were two ambulance workers “assassinated” in January while trying to rescue five-year-old Hind Rajab and her family, and eight others killed in March when their ambulances were struck by Israeli forces.

It added that several PRCS hospitals and medical centres have been forced to close due to bomb damage and evacuation orders by Israeli forces.
