With Netflix I downgraded to the lowest tier, which is still more than it was at the start.
Here it is
Standard with Ads is $7.99/month, Standard (without ads) is $18.99/month, and Premium (no ads, 4K-supported) is $23.99/month.
It started at $6.99 a month without ads and had better content... I might cancel it altogether, just my kids are still using it. I just put it on nowadays to fall asleep with as the ad breaks are still less annoying than on cable (for now).
I have never regularly subscribed to gamepass, just the $1 deal a couple times to check it out. It never caught on with me, I was always back to playing my own games before the trial period ended.
PS+ I'm also on essential, or whatever is lowest, for my kids who still play online. (I don't). So that can go as well once they leave the house.
I have too many games to play, not enough time. Subscription service makes no sense.
Plus when I buy something I want the money to go to the developers of that game, not disappear is some pot from which the platform holder can withhold whatever they want / pay other publishers I don't like. 30% is bad enough, how much of the subscription revenue actually ends up in developer's hands?..
So definitely not going to subscribe now lol.
