Israeli forces, settlers carry out raids in occupied West Bank

The Palestinian Wafa news agency is reporting that several raids have been carried out by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank:

  • Israeli forces stormed the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah. No arrests or injuries were reported.
  • It raided the city of Salfit and turned the home of resident Saeed Shams into military barracks.
  • A young woman from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, was arrested at the Dotan military checkpoint in the town of Yabad, west of Jenin.
  • Israeli settlers destroyed a guava farm and damaged water lines and tanks in the town of az-Zawiya, west of Salfit.
  • Israeli forces conducted two raids on the eastern neighbourhood of Jenin and arrested two young men.


Israeli forces raid towns around Nablus

The Israeli army has raided several towns around the West Bank city of Nablus, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reports.

Military raids took place in Bazariya, Qusra, Kafr Qallil, Burin, Duma, Surra, Sebastia and Beit Furik, it said.

Separately, Israeli settlers stormed the outskirts of Burin village, south of Nablus, leading to clashes. The settlers fired live ammunition, but no injuries were reported.


Palestinian youth killed in settler attack near Ramallah

A young Palestinian man has been shot and killed in a settler attack in the West Bank town of al-Mughayyir, north of Ramallah, our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic are reporting.

Local news outlets identified the victim as Saeed Murad al-Nasan without specifying his age.


Israeli forces fire live bullets, sound bombs in raids near Ramallah

Israeli forces have raided el-Bireh and Deir Ibzi, west of Ramallah, the Palestinian Wafa news agency has reported.

The military stormed the centre of el-Bireh and fired live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas. No injuries were reported.

The agency also reported that Israeli forces stormed Deir Ibzi’ village, west of Ramallah.
