If Trump had taken office at any point in history other than the time he did, he would have been kicked out... fast. But the system is poisoned now, and it's festering. It's rigged, bought and paid for and being run by psychopathic manics, so there is no hope for his removal. In short, it's the people in charge, not the system. The system is pure, and it's under attack. |
Nah the system has always been bad. Trump and the people in charge are just exposing it. A system that has no safety mechanisms against fascist dipshits getting in power is bad. It relied solely on the good will and handshake agreement of the people in power.
And we aren't even talking about all the evils of the system outside Trump. The system was never "pure." It literally started with allowing voting only for land owning non enslaved men. And the senate was built specifically as an antidemocratic force. The system of capitalism is bad and the presidential system is just worse than that parliamentary system.
You can't kick Trump out unless a lot of shit happens due to the presidential system. The parliamentary system much more easily can get the PM removed and the PM has far less unilateral authority. And bs has been happening in the US for a long while. Like we don't have to pretend anymore that the supreme court didn't help George Bush win the election in 2000 even though Al Gore won the electoral college. That was a stolen and rigged election. Gerrymandering has been a thing for a long time too. Trump and the current Republicans and Democrats are the result of systems and how they developed. Someone like Trump was bound to come.
Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also
