I think I'd much rather have US politics posts be where they belong. There's a reason I rarely go there, and that's my picking when and how much I'm interested in US politics. If you got thread-banned, tough luck. I don't mind Trump news when they have relevancy to the war, but this doesn't.

The commentary on Trump is very much relevant, even if it may not appear so at first, because Trump has long denied support for Ukraine because of his long ties with Russia.  So, me going on about trump's dementia or whatever may not see relevant.  However the meta message that i'm trying to make is that his time in office won't be very long, and then Vance may be more likely to help Ukraine.
