Trails in the Sky reviewing so well! I've been eyeing the Trails series for a while. What kept me from trying them was the sheer number of story-connected games, and the abysmal Falcom production values (as far as full 3D is concerned). I ultimately tried its sister series, Ys. Loved Origin but was disappointed with Ys 8 which confirmed my concerns.
The Trails in the Sky remake is godsent as it seems to solve my two main issues. It's a great entry point and it looks and feels good! I hope it will invite enough new players to help usher in a new era for Falcom where their games aren't compromised by such low production values.
