They may be holding off until Switch 2 has sold enough units to warrant making it. We have to keep in mind, Call of Duty games on Nintendo consoles were never huge sellers, especially with the Wii U, so I can understand them wanting to wait a while longer before making the commitment.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the 10 year deal with Nintendo was a promise to bring Call of Duty to their machines at some point during those 10 years, but they didn't actually commit to a date or time when this would occur?. I'm probably wrong on that but I can't remember them promising Black Ops 7 on Switch 2 for example.
