The bidding is ignore the past (except Oct 7 of course), nothing to see here

Netanyahu, Rubio share no new information in press conference

The main takeaway from the press conference here was that no new information presented to the public regarding the attack on Gaza, regarding Israeli military expansion and regarding Israel’s attack that has now been widely condemned and criticised internationally in the Qatari capital Doha.

Now, Netanyahu didn’t exactly say he would rule it out in the future, but he didn’t confirm or deny the results of that attack.

Rubio was shying away from condemning it. He said they’re just trying to find a path forward, they don’t want to focus on the past but focus on the future as to what is going to happen next.

Rubio calls for elimination of Hamas and release of captives

US Rubio reiterated during a press conference with PM Netanyahu that Hamas “cannot exist as an armed element that threatens the peace and security, not just of Israel but of the world”.

Rubio said:

  • The US would maintain unwavering support for Israel
  • “The people of Gaza deserve a better future” without Hamas
  • Netanyahu is committed “firmly” to the objectives of the return of the captives, both dead and alive
  • Peace in Gaza is not possible until captives are released and Hamas is eliminated
  • The elimination of Hamas might require a “concise military operation”
  • The US is focused on what happens next after the Israeli attack in Qatar.
  • The US will continue to urge Qatar to play a constructive role in mediation efforts to conclude a ceasefire deal after the Israeli attack last week.
  • Recognition of Palestinian statehood at UN next week “largely symbolic” with it only making Hamas “feel more emboldened”.
  • Warned of Israeli “counter-reaction” to recognition of a Palestinian state.

Hmm yeah it's Hamas that's bringing down international law and threatening the world...
And foreshadowing the next escalation of war crimes.

Rubio claims Palestinian state recognition may hinder efforts to end Gaza war

During his press conference with Netanyahu, Rubio also said that the push to recognise a Palestinian state paradoxically makes it “harder to end the war” as it “emboldens” Hamas.

In recent months, the UK, France, Belgium and other European countries have expressed a willingness to recognise a Palestinian state as a threat to Israel if it does not end its war on Gaza.

Makes it harder to finish the genocide / ethnic cleansing he means.

Israel takes ‘full responsibility’ for attack on Hamas in Qatar, Netanyahu says

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has said the decision to attack Hamas leaders in Qatar was an independent Israeli decision and “we take full responsibility” for the attack.

Speaking at a joint news conference with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Jerusalem, Netanyahu also said Israel and the United States will continue to act together to protect the two countries.

Rubio’s visit to Israel comes amid tensions with fellow US allies in the Middle East over Israel’s strike on Hamas leaders in Qatar and expansion of illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank.

“Rubio’s visit is a clear message that America stands with Israel in face of terror,” Netanyahu said.

US President Donald Trump “is the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House,” he added.

That's US' repercussion to the attack on Qatar, kiss Donald's feet.

Israel taking full responsibility with total impunity. Means absolutely nothing. Just trying to get the heat of the US.
