Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV reports that Israeli strikes have targeted a health facility in Sanaa and a government building in the al-Hazm district. Earlier, the outlet said Yemeni air defences were confronting Israeli jets.

Israeli army says it bombed Houthi targets in Yemen

Israel’s military says its warplanes struck sites in Yemen’s Sanaa and al-Jawf, including military camps, a fuel depot and what it described as a media office. Houthi armed forces confirmed the strikes, saying air defences fired several surface-to-air missiles and forced some Israeli aircraft to withdraw.

According to the Houthi-run Al Masirah TV, the raids targeted a medical facility for the health sector in southwest Sanaa and the local government compound in al-Jawf’s capital, al-Hazm. Military spokesperson Saree accused Israel of trying to pressure the group to abandon their support for Gaza, but pledged operations against Israel would continue until its genocidal war on Gaza halts.

Israel has repeatedly bombed Yemen, including its main airport, killing civilians and damaging infrastructure in the war-torn country.
