The platform is declining, Microsoft gaming is growing. Xbox platform dying and MS gaming dominating can occur at the same time. I disagree on linking Microsoft's growth with Xbox Series' so called success.
And until the acquisitions pay themselves, MS gaming's true profits will remain in the minus. It'll take them forever to achieve this, and most of the money will come through Steam, Playstation, and Nintendo gamers who are NOT part of their "platform". Xbox may as well disappear and MS will remain a gaming giant. There's just no connection between MS gaming growth and Xbox Series's "success".
