The way I see it is perfect sense for M$ and for their consumers. Add this functionality that is obviously a hot topic and a hit with casuals and then also provide the hardcore audience with games they will enjoy. The best of both worlds. Not sure how this is desperation. They are making a profit and riding the wave of success. 360 is fine for the rest of this generation no matter how you try to spin it.

 

I think it said in the article that it wasn't geared toward the hardcore gamer, but we'll see.

 

I wasn't speaking about games using the motion controller.  I was saying that they are still offering the same games they would have had they not developed a motion controller.  Motion controlling games are just an extra.
