That makes sense. I just did MK1 this weekend, PS+ after all. I've never played X's story but did 9 and 11 and now MK1. I would agree 1 has the better story, even if it gets confusing with where characters go or what version of characters we are playing. So in the next entry, I'm also for something more grounded.
We need new characters too, MK1 didn't have any new MK only characters did it?

So on this, MK1 (campaign, no way I'm finishing everything else). :P
Racing through the PS+ games. MK1 was good but I think the because of the knowledge of having to remember I have a tag partner, I preferred MK11 overall, plus the customisation of the characters in MK11 was better, less grind just to get colours.
