Japan got two fucking nukes dropped on it and Germany got fucking bombed to hell and back by the allies resulting in both countries unconditionally and totally surrendering, there was no negotiation at all, the allies demanded an unconditional surrender and they got one, it basically became "Surrender or we'll fucking end your country permanently" by the end of it.
And then afterwards both Germany and Japan were occupied by allies, Japan mostly by America, which was the only time in the history of Japan that it had been occupied by a foreign power. Germany meanwhile was fucking split between 4 countries, stripped of its sovereignty and its government was entirely dissolved. Where the fuck was the negotiation? Lmao.
It was a complete and utter defeat of Nazi Germany and Japan.
