I'm all for the legalization of Marijuana for reasons stated above (economic growth, less unemployment, happy people, less workload on the polise). Hell, I'd even like to see some government controlled acres of land filled with the stuff so we can have competitive prices. (Here off course it is not so much a question if it should be legal, rather how it's handled.)
But I do have to stop you at Hard drugs Rubang. The government puts rules in place for the mere fact that we cannot regulate ourselves. Sure, some people will but a lot will not. For instance, how fast would you drive on the freeway, or in the city if there weren't any laws on speedlimits? How fast will other people ride? Would that still be safe for other users on the road?
Same with harddrugs. Marijuna (and an assortment of softdrugs like Paddo's, XTC etc.) do not make you addictive over night. Or after a couple of uses. Crack? Meth? Heroïne... those substances have a pretty big possibility to make an addict out of you right after the first use. And believe me, the costs of for instance heroïne addicts (medical costs, cost from criminal activity) would make all the gains from softdrugs a mood point...
