Israeli forces launch arrest campaigns across occupied West Bank

The Israeli army has stormed the occupied West Bank towns of Awa and Bani Naim in the Hebron governorate, launching an arrest campaign against Palestinian residents over recent hours.

In Hableh, south of Qalqilya, and the Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah, Israeli forces have also launched raids and arrests. In al-Dhaher, south of Hebron, Israeli soldiers fired live bullets as they stormed homes. There has also been a raid reported in Kafr Dan, west of Jenin.


Four Palestinians wounded in Israeli settler attack

Four Palestinians have been wounded in an attack by Israeli settlers north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank. The attack took place near Halhul, the location of a previous attack by settlers earlier this month amid an escalation in such attacks in the occupied West Bank.


Settlers burn Palestinian vehicles in West Bank

Sources have told Al Jazeera that Israeli settlers have burned Palestinian vehicles in the Sa’i plain, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Earlier today, we reported that settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Karmei Tzur, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked Palestinians from Halhul, north of Hebron, throwing stones and issuing threats.


Israeli settlers issue forced eviction notice to family east of Bethlehem

Israeli settlers stormed the Khallet Umm al-Hasan area near Kisan village, east of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank, and threatened a Palestinian with a 24-hour forced eviction notice.

The secretary of the Fatah Movement in Kisan village, Ahmed Ghazal, told Wafa news agency that a group of settlers raided the home of Nassar Rashaida, threatening to burn down the house, built in the shape of a tent with an aluminium roof, and attack his family if he did not leave.

Ghazal explained that settlers had demolished Rashaida’s house, which was built of brick and concrete, nearly a month ago.

He added that the village and the Khallet Umm al-Hasan area are constantly subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli settlers, including raids on homes, attacks on farmers and attempts to seize land – under the protection of the Israeli forces.


Israeli settlers raid Palestinian tents in northern Jordan Valley

In further settler violence in the occupied West Bank, a number of armed Israeli settlers have raided tents belonging to a Palestinian man in al-Farisiyah village, Wafa news agency is reporting.

The agency said that settlers had previously raided the man’s tents several days ago, assaulting his sons and leaving one with bruises requiring hospitalisation.


Israeli forces storm towns and villages in occupied West Bank

Israeli forces have deployed in a number of villages and towns in the Ramallah and el-Bireh governorate in the occupied West Bank.

Local and security sources told Wafa that troops stormed the towns of Birzeit and Abu Shkheidam, the village of Burham, the town of Silwad to the east, the town of Kobar and the village of Kafr Ein.


Israeli soldiers kill Palestinian teenager after settler attack on West Bank village

An 18-year-old Palestinian boy has been shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the al-Mughayyir village in the occupied West Bank’s Ramallah, where settlers had attacked hours earlier.

The Wafa news agency cited the Palestinian Health Ministry in Ramallah as confirming his death after succumbing to injuries in a hospital.

The head of the local village council said Israeli forces stormed the village and shot the boy in the back before assaulting him.
