Netanyahu has become a ‘problem’: Denmark’s PM
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen says Netanyahu “is now a problem in himself”, adding that she would try to put pressure on Israel over its war on Gaza as her country currently holds the EU presidency. Frederiksen also said the Israeli government was going “too far”.
The centre-right leader slammed the “absolutely appalling and catastrophic” humanitarian situation in Gaza and the new settlement project in the occupied West Bank. “We are one of the countries that wants to increase pressure on Israel, but we have not yet obtained the support of EU members,” she said.
Frederiksen added that she wanted to consider “political pressure, sanctions, whether against settlers, ministers or even Israel as a whole”. “We are not ruling anything out in advance. Just as with Russia, we are designing the sanctions to target where we believe they will have the greatest effect,” added Frederiksen, whose country is not among those that have said they will recognise a Palestinian state.
A. It's not just Netanyahu. Re-elections might pause the genocide, it won't end ethnic cleansing nor occupation nor land theft nor apartheid.
B. Excusing your inaction behind EU support while you are part of EU support is complicity in the genocide.
C. European countries can put sanctions on foreign countries without EU support.
The longer this goes on, the more were going towards an allied invasion as the only possible solution to stop Israel's Neo Nazism.

Denmark’s PM says time is not right to recognise Palestinian state
Frederiksen says that while Israel’s “continued and very violent behaviour in Gaza is unacceptable” and needs to be stopped, she does not believe the time is right to support a Palestinian state.
In a post on social media, the prime minister said that while Denmark supported the idea of a Palestinian state and a two-state solution, “we have an obligation to ensure that recognition of Palestine promotes what is right.”
“It should happen at a point when it really promotes a two-state solution,” Frederiksen said. That would entail “a sustainable and democratic state in Palestine without the influence of Hamas”, she added, noting that the group “does not recognise Israel’s right to exist”.

The new document also insists that Hamas is a not a revolutionary force that seeks to intervene in other countries, a commitment that is likely to be welcomed by other states such as Egypt.
