Protests over Israel's killing of journalists in Gaza | BBC News
There have been protests across Europe and the US over Israel's killing of journalists in Gaza on Monday. The UN's human rights office has condemned the attack, calling it a grave breach of international law. Five Al Jazeera journalists, including correspondent Anas al-Sharif, were killed in an Israeli air strike on Sunday. Two others were killed, including a freelance journalist, the broadcaster said. Israel's military said it targeted Sharif, alleging he had "served as the head of a terrorist cell in Hamas" - something Sharif denied. Israel provided little evidence for this claim and has said nothing about the other journalists it killed.
BBC should ‘scrutinise’ Israeli allegations against Anas al-Sharif says Salah Negm
When asked about Israeli claims that Anas al-Sharif, Al Jazeera’s prominent journalist who was killed along with five other journalists in an Israeli attack on a tent sheltering Palestinian reporters on Sunday, was “head of a Hamas terrorist cell,” Salah Negm, Al Jazeera’s Director of News, said the BBC should “investigate that and scrutinise” the claims and ask “follow-up questions.” Negm also urged the BBC to hire Palestinian reporters inside Gaza so they can “convey what’s happening on the ground.”
That's too much to ask from a propaganda mouth piece.
