This is a truly awful and dangerous thing to say. It's only a small chance for us because we live in the west under a relatively strict rule of law. What about the people in Africa and the middle east though? Enourmous amounts of terrorism and violence. Would you really go around there telling them that terrorism isn't too much of an issue cos your more likely to die in other ways?

7,555 terrorism related deaths world wide in 3,492 terrorism related attacks.

Did you know domestic violence kills 10 times as many...

Terrorism is a problem, but it's also a symptom.

Burkina Faso tops the list for terrorism

It's also no wonder why...

And it seems they're working on the solution, improving quality of life for everyone

What surprised me most was the other side of the story. Modern construction projects, newly paved roads, and rising neighborhoods show a country moving forward. Despite ongoing instability, there is visible progress. A new Burkina Faso is emerging, grounded in national pride, regional cooperation, and long-term development.

Now if you include state terrorism (for example Israel and the IDF) then no, I would not go around telling people it's not too much of an issue. But I suppose we're talking about non state actors here. Who are also fueled by state terrorism.

I just don't believe those numbers. The issue is far bigger than that. It's horrendous in ME/Africa, but especially the middle east.

About Israel being "state terrorism" Israel is a teeny tiny country compared to the others in the middle east. They are at war with 7 different countries/militias. Hamas/west bank, Hezbollah. Yemen. Iraq militias, Syrian militias and Iran. Why would a country as small as Israel terrorise all those regions/militias? It would be hugely costly in money and human life to do that needlessly.
