SALES/PLAYER COUNTS & DEALS

This new 4-player co-op 'doomsday shooter' is free to own forever during its first 24 hours on Steam

This isn't news to anyone who's been paying attention for the past few decades, but the world is coming to an end and we're all gonna burn. Best be prepared for the inevitable apocalypse by stocking up on guns, food, and most of all, toilet paper—and it wouldn't hurt to have a few friends at your side, too.
That's the situation in Guntouchables, the new 4-player co–op roguelite from developer Game Swing and Ghost Ship Publishing. Grab your guns and pals and take on waves of mutants and monsters while scouring the post-apocalyptic landscape for important supplies like beer, beans, and TP, upgrading your gear and abilities along the way.
Here's the really cool part: Guntouchables is free to own for its first 24 hours on Steam. Grab it now and you'll pay nothing and keep it forever. And even if you somehow miss out on this killer deal, Guntouchables only costs $5 starting tomorrow.
>> It also has a single player mode.

Battlefield 6's open beta is already the most popular Battlefield of all time on Steam, and the platform's 44th most-played game ever

Since time immemorial, mankind has struggled with its nemesis and ultimate predator: the helicopter. No wonder, then, that in the wake of that trailer which exploded around 1.46 helicopters per minute, half the human race has apparently poured into the Battlefield 6 open beta, catapulting it into Steam's top-100 most-played games of all time (per SteamDB).
In other words, it's instantly become Steam's most popular Battlefield launch ever. Though there is a caveat there: EA only recently started launching Battlefield games simultaneously on Steam.
At time of writing, Battlefield 6 has just pipped the 300k player mark, sitting pretty at 308,310 concurrents (which is, naturally, also its all-time peak; the beta only opened up a couple of hours ago). That makes it the 44th most-played game on Steam of all time by concurrent players, right below Elden Ring Nightreign at 43 and—of all things—Skyrim at 45.
>> And that with long queues...

Humble Bundle's new Warner Bros. collection has 15 really good games, plus Suicide Squad, for just $12
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/humble-bundles-new-warner-bros-collection-has-15-really-good-games-plus-suicide-squad-for-just-usd12/
If you've got enough money in your pocket to buy a Double Whopper combo but you're not feeling especially hungry right now, I've got a good alternative plan for getting rid of it: Humble Bundle's "Play the Legends" collection of Warner Bros. games, which includes 16 really good games (well, 15, plus Suicide Squad) for just $12.
Okay, first things first, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn't bad, really, it's just not great: It's okay, it's serviceable, it'll keep you occupied, but it's not going to replace your live service shooter of choice—especially since it's not really a live service shooter anymore.
At the same time, yeah, it does come up looking a little pale next to pretty much everything else in this bundle, which as the kids say is stacked. Here's what you get:
>> The games go from FEAR, many Batman titles to even some Mortal Kombat ones. The bundle will last 20 days.

The Epic Store gives away two games:

Next week, the free game will be Totally Reliable Delivery Service Standard Edition.

GOG has four new promos/sales:

Steam has these:

Fanatical has more 24h Flash Deals and a new bundle:

https://www.dsogaming.com/patches/starfield-patch-1-15-222-released-fully-detailed
Bethesda has just released Patch 1.15.222 for Starfield. From the looks of it, this is a small update, so don’t expect a lot of changes or fixes from it. But anyway, let’s see what it brings to the table.
>> Some folks have digged through the lines of code from this update and believe they’ve found a reference to a big change in the game.

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is live, but you likely won’t be able to play due to EXTREMELY long server queues
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/the-battlefield-6-open-beta-is-live-but-you-likely-wont-be-able-to-play-due-to-extremely-long-server-queue
The Early Access for Battlefield 6’s Open Beta has been launched, and it appears that most who got access to it won’t be able to play. Right now, there is an extremely long server queue. I’m not exaggerating here. The server queue is over 230K.
