I tried out the new update and my god it's awesome! Falcon is awesome, and thankfully beefy in health, and you can easily squad up in it. Carbine feels really good to play as well, which it really needed to set itself apart to feel distinct. Apparently the SBMM has even been loosened! It's crazy to see how much has been added to the game ever since the rebranding.
