XMB is clean, simple, and it is easy to find everything. The only thing that needs some improvement perhaps is the gaming section where it just puts everything into a folder, click the folder, then scroll up/down through the myriad games.
You can customize it to show all games without the use of a folder and sort the content by most recently played (IMO very useful), so the game you played last will be on top, the game you played before that will be the second icon, etc. You can also sort by type or date of install.
