I would not be surprised if Sony starts releasing their major titles on Xbox and Switch 2. I don’t see it slowing their console sales all that much, Switch 2 won’t get the best versions and nobody cares about Xbox anymore. It would just be more software sales for Sony. They can still have some timed exclusivity, to endure console sales.
Maybe Nintendo will go the same route eventually. Less likely, as their hardware is profitable I believe. They will probably not do it for their flagship titles in the foreseeable future, but maybe something like Xenoblade or Fire Emblem.
