I don't know how the survey was taken. But if it is about 'paying' customers, then yes it would be parents not children. That would raise the age.
Even if not, for Nintendo games giving they tend to stay at their price point, that would be an older customer base. Younger gamers would probably more interested in more affordable options or free to play format.
