It’s safer to be trans in the Middle East then in Florida or Texas. It’s the right wing rhetoric that makes trans people a part of the queer community. It’s this right wing hate that puts people in jeopardy and makes them unsafe.
The grand majority of people in the Middle East are underrepresented, underprivileged and exploited. For Palestinians it’s all of that, plus murder and starvation and systematic sexual violence.
They want to live their own lives. And those that are politically aware are mostly talking about social justice, human rights, and anti-corruption and abuse.
The authoritarian Arab governments are kept in place because a democratic system would be against Israel’s Zionism and the oppression of Palestine. A United Arab nation would be too powerful to resist by Israel.
So they slander us, they sabotage our efforts to secularize and tell people that we are hateful by nature. By blood.
I hope videos like this can demonstrate that we Arabs are not bloodthirsty. We are not all bigots, and many of us believe in a world where all people can be as one.
But this can’t happen so long as Arabs have no political representation and the main point of contact for Arab views is authoritarian regimes, amplified bigots and fundamentalist groups, and the very people seeking our ethnic cleansing.
Unfortunately the video was removed by Reddit.
Anyway enough with the distractions.
This genocide has nothing to do with Gay or Women's rights. Bombing, starving, ethnic cleansing do not promote gay nor women's rights.
In fact Women are targeted the most by Israel's actions.

The UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, its causes and consequences, Reem Alsalem, today called for immediate global action to halt what she described as an unfolding “femi-genocide” in Gaza, saying the scale and nature of the crimes inflicted on Palestinian women and girls by Israeli forces are so extreme that existing concepts in legal and criminal frameworks can no longer adequately describe or capture them.
“What is happening to Palestinian women and girls is not collateral damage of war,” Alsalem said. “It is the intentional destruction of their lives and bodies, for being Palestinian and for being women.”
