The London Olympics opening ceremony explored Britain's culture & history, featuring amongst other things, the industrial revolution, the NHS & yep, the Spice Girls.
I guess Danny Boyle failed the brief too...
And the idea that the girl got sent home because she didn't interpret the rules correctly is also ridiculous. By that logic, if the theme was easter and someone dressed as an elf, they'd get seperated from the class & sent home...
Are we really suggesting that that would be in any way reasonable?
