Seems that way, Putin straight up told him he'll attack for another 60 days, that implies Putin will assess the situation after those 60 days and decide whether he can continue or will finally accept a ceasefire, basically this 50 day threat is entirely on Putin's terms still, if Putin accepts a ceasefire it will only be because they're militarily exhausted and need to rebuild their army to try again later, in which case Trump will claim he stopped the war and Russia surrendered to him so he can get the Nobel Peace Prize.
But this doesn't settle the elephant in the room that Russia will still be illegally occupying nearly 20% of Ukraine, a ceasefire won't be the end of things.
