
At the end of the video, intercepted radio communications capture the reactions of Russian troops after encountering the robot.
“Speak, speak, I’m f***ing done shouting again, it’s a f***ing robotic thing, moving along the road, shooting with a machine gun,” one Russian soldier says.
Another responds, “Kalina, brother, what’s the situation? It’s like the Germans sent this f***ing robot down the road, and it was shooting.”
In March 2025, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense codified and approved the domestically produced Liut ground robotic complex for use by the Defense Forces.
The robot is equipped with a 7.62mm machine gun and additional systems enabling target detection and engagement during day and night. The Liut system features a silent electric motor, with battery capacity sufficient for extended operations.
