I still use my VR headset fairly often. I admit, I don't find myself playing many different games on it these days. Been awhile since a new game came out that truly impress me but I still play games like Beat Saber, Thrill of the fight, Pistol whip as a fun way to exercise fairly often.
Yes some of us when we say we use VR to exercise is actually talking about PG definition.
I still using PC VR a Vive Pro 2 that I bought in 2021. I use the Index controllers that I had since 2019 and I still using my original Lighthouse base stations that I got with my original Vive back in 2016. Since I have a dedicated room where I do VR I was able to mount my base stations on the wall which means it take me not more than a min to get going in VR. Hit the on bottom on my VR interface, Open Vive Console, open steam vr, put on headset and start game.
I plan on upgrading hardware every 5 years (vive 2016, Vive Pro 2 2021) so am hoping the rumor Valve Deckard will release next year and be good so that can be my 2026 upgrade. If Deckard never release or have disappointing specs am not sure what I get next year or might decide not to upgrade. There definitely stuff better then what I have but everything seem like small improvements nothing truly "next gen".
