US sanctions UN human rights expert investigating Israeli abuses in Gaza
The US on Wednesday said it is sanctioning Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories, after failing to have her removed from the international body over her investigation of Israel's human rights violations in Gaza.
