Yes, there shouldn't really be any games that don't run at least 60fps on an i5-10600k right now. You might want more SSD storage too for installing games on as HDD doesn't cut it for modern games but other than that it's just the GPU. Upgrade that and you'll be outperforming your Series X and have a decent gaming PC.

Even your 1660 Super will already be more powerful than the ROG XBOX Ally X GPU. Hopefully the gaming frontend for windows launches for desktop at the same time as that.
