I think the other aspect of the backlash is that AI isn't being casually adopted by consumers, it is literally being forced onto them, like I said before, I am sick of death of seeing Google AI showing me its shitty summaries which are often wrong, I'm sick of accidentally clicking "Ask CoPilot" on the right click, I'm sick of CoPilot being rammed down my throat anywhere I look, I'm sick of my Facebook being littered with AI garbage. It is not a natural adoption of a piece of tech, it is very much being forced onto people and people don't like shit being forced onto them, and it's being forced on them because these companies are desperate to get people to adopt it after they've unloaded tens of billions into it. Fuck AI.
