10 years isn't a lot of time at all.

We'll get more and more remakes as the game industry runs out of ideas (or just not willing to risk it) just like the movie industry. All the great games from your youth will be manhandled by AI remakes that manage to look and run worse than the original.

Consoles will still exist, VR might get a bit bigger as DFR becomes part of SDKs and makes it easier to match flat games. But not much as 10 years is not enough to make a break through in lightweight affordable headsets that solve the vergence-accommodation conflict. Plus they'll still need to be tethered as resolution increases demand ever higher bandwidths. Next VR headsets will need HDMI 2.2 or processing onboard to unpack DFR compressed data streams.

Proper HDR will still be niche as it doesn't seem any developers can be bothered to support it properly.

Game streaming will introduce add break supported tiers while subscription prices keep climbing.
