I also don't like Metas ecosystem nor their pricing and sales structure and I hate that every time I boot up my quest 2 none of the games are playable cause they need to be updated. It's worse than Switch. If I were to play any VR it'd be PSVR 2 on a deep sale at some point cause I absolutely loved PSVR the first go round but I had a PRO for that. |
That sentiment kinda turns around when you're older, wife and kids, can't just grab the TV for whatever you want to play... VR is more convenient than dragging the PS5 to another room and hooking it up to a less capable TV. And I can pay while listening along to the TV.
PS5 Pro doesn't add much (apart from extra storage space) for VR. Very few games with noticeable advantages. But it's still $400, less than Switch 2 though ;)
Ugh dilemma, do I go out and buy DS2 or wait until I get bored of VR. Or just skip it (after putting 400 hours into DS1)
I'm currently having too much fun taking out all the billionaire scum in the Ark Society mission in Hitman, no one will leave the island muhahaha. Working from the top down lol. (AI is funny, just keeps cleaning up corpses I throw out of windows and then going back to normal. Oh another terrible 'accident')
How is DS2 compared to the first one? I read it's more focused on trucking rather than exploring paths, walking and building zip lines? I didn't like the shooty missions much from the first game, so if it's focused more on action than I won't be that sad to miss it lol.
