Apparently Sony is considering an acquisition of WBD's streaming and gaming assets after the company is divided.

It would be one of the few acquisitions that would elevate Sony to an entirely different goliath in the entertainment industry. It would transform their gaming business, with the likes of Hogwarts, Batman, Lego, and Mortal Kombat added to the portfolio, Sony Pictures will finally be on the level of Disney or Netflix, with their own streaming service, and they don't have to worry about the piles of debt from their cable business.
