Problem spotted.

Even the best generations of Sony 1st party don't hold a candle to their unmatched 3rd party lineup. Because at the end of the day Sony is just one company.

Do yourself a huge favour and start playing more 3rd party stuff! "Not sure why", well it's video game racism, now you know!

If you insist in being 3rd party phobic, Sony has a massive library of old 1st party games that you might want to look into. Consider subbing for PS+ Premium for a month and check out the classics the internet generally recommends.

You literally sound like any automated reply bot on a website's FAQ support page.

"Unmatched 3rd party lineup." Did Steam get erased from existence recently?

Consoles don't exist in a vacuum. It's never been easier and more accessible for average gamers to enter the PC gaming market. The noticeable stagnation and recent decline of PS+Xbox sales alongside the continued growth in the PC market validates that fact.

Sony may not be running their console brand into the ground quite as efficiently as Xbox manged to do, but if they keep refusing to innovate at all while relying on derivative generation refreshes and their loyalists, they'll be left behind all the same.

Of course for PlayStation their attempt at innovation will likely just result in them copying Nintendo's homework, again.

I wrote more than virtually anyone here about the risks of Sony's choices, except without sounding like a bitter ex-girlfriend.

Among consoles, Playstation historically has the best 3rd party support by a wide margin. Modern PCs are definitely better and I'm not trying to hide this lol.

PC is king if you can afford a decent build and you don't hate digital and other minor inconveniences. Yes, it'll potentially kill Playstation like it's killing Xbox, unless Sony makes the right adjustments including pissing you off by "copying" others.
