Ok, so, given that (at keast) some demos are still working, I gave Hell is Us a go with upscaling, and even enabled Steam's FPS counter to be more precise.

First I played it native with everything on low except textures and shadows, on med, until the first fight. It run at around 22fps. The horror! (nah, it's far from great but I can manage).

Then I restarted the game with FSR3 on balance and 70% upscaling, with everything on medium expect Global Ilumination still at low, and played the same bit of the game. I got around 30-32fps, with some big dips below 20 on the cinematics.

Sadly, I noticed artifacts on both the face of our character when there's a mix of sun and shadow in it, and especially the drops of rain, as they leave a trail behind them on the whole screen from top to bottom, making it very distracting.
