Have it be the normal price. Microsoft doing even worse in terms of pricing is no defense of Sony's prices.

Those are normal prices. The reason the prices jumped on the XBS consoles was because MS are no longer subsidising the cost to sell the hardware. It's not about MS "being bad and greedy" with prices. They just priced the consoles at breakeven cost instead of at a loss. Nothing wrong with that from either MS or Sony
