The quantity and quality of this generation are both very high, will probably end up higher than the last generation by a decent margin. The main weakness of PS, PC, and most of all Xbox, is that they are losing their identity due to lack of big exclusives. The other weakness is diminishing returns and game engines taking too long (or failing) to meaningfully take advantage of the powerful hardware.
The plus side is that these platforms will have a VERY long lifespan/support (maybe not Xbox because I imagine developers will ditch Xbox Series much sooner than PS5 due to Series S's requirement).
