I mean, even Tim Sweeney (link) and the general manager of the Epic Store, Steve Allison (link) have said in the last couple that the store needs somw work (my words, not theirs).
So yeah, choosing Steam over EGS is a no brainer in terms of capabilities and ease of use.
GOG is great as well, with my only complain being that, because you can import your game collection from other stores to have it all in one place, it's very hard to know which games are from GOG, Steam, EGS or others, as they're all put together instead of split in groups or by store, at least in the default Grid array (it shows that when going by List array, but I find it less useful).
