This honestly makes sense. If Xbox is already making a unified version of Windows that has that console-like experience, then having their own first-party handheld in an already crowded market with the likes of Asus, MSI, Lenovo, Valve even (since you can install Windows on your Steam Deck) etc. it doesn't really make much sense lol.
I wonder if the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the ROG Xbox Ally ultimately led to this decision. The biggest thing will be how the emulation works for Xbox console games.
